The world needs more Intrepid people:

We’re looking for a Vice President, Americas Operations to help lead and strengthen Intrepid’s operational delivery across North and South America.

In this senior leadership role, you will oversee the end-to-end operational delivery of Intrepid, external brand, and acquired business trips across the global country office network. This role will lead and drive operational excellence across the regional network, mentoring and empowering operations managers to ensure they have the guidance and support needed to deliver outstanding results. You will also take a lead role in incident management, providing oversight and supervision of serious and major incidents.

This is a full-time, permanent position that will work onsite from our office in Denver, CO or Seattle, WA. The salary range for this position is $120,000–$140,000 USD, depending on experience, and includes a great benefits package along with other excellent perks.

Some of the experience you’ll bring with you may include:

  • Demonstrated operational and/or relevant business experience within a DMC environment or comparable setting.

  • Proven experience in incident management and operational risk response.

  • Experience operating at a senior management level, with responsibility for leadership and decision-making.

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building capability, with the ability to work effectively both independently and within cross-functional teams.

  • Experience in operational implementation and end-to-end product delivery.

  • Highly developed project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability in addressing operational challenges and driving practical solutions.

  • Solid understanding of Intrepid’s operating model and DMC network.

  • Demonstrated ability to motivate, engage, and develop others within diverse, cross-cultural environments.

  • Ability and willingness to work flexible hours when required and undertake regular business travel.

Bonus, if you have the following experience:

  • Proficient in Spanish.
