We’re excited to expand and open a local office in Tashkent, Uzbekistan – and you can be a part of this fantastic core team!

As our Finance Manager, you will lead the financial operations for Central Asia - from cash flow and payroll to budgeting and management reports. You will be responsible for the company financial ledger, completing accurate accounting work including accounts receivable, accounts payable and financial reports while ensuring tax compliance.

You will play a key role in safeguarding financial compliance and delivering strategic business performance reporting. Reporting to the Country Director (General Manager), you’ll provide commercial support while contributing towards the overall direction of Intrepid in Central Asia!

This is a full-time permanent position based in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. To provide the best experience for our people, this role would operate in our office with the opportunity to work from home on occasion.

Some of the experience you’ll bring would include: 

  • Degree in Accounting/ Finance or a member of CA/ ACCA 
  • 5+ years in a professional Accounting/ Finance role, including experience in the travel & tourism industry. 
  • Great communication skills in English and the local languages 
  • Proficiency in Office 365 applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) is essential, with hands-on experience in accounting software like D365. 
  • You’ll also have a high level of integrity coupled with strong organisational skills.
