In Denver, our Urban Adventures tours bring the spirit of the Mile High City to life -  from vibrant neighbourhoods and local craft breweries to the stories, culture, and outdoor energy that make Denver one of the most dynamic cities in the U.S. Our travellers don’t just see the sights; they experience the city like a local

If you share our passion for tours focused on sustainable, local, and immersive travel experiences for people from all over the world - this might be the perfect opportunity for you.

 

This is a part-time seasonal role in Denver, CO. The hourly wage is $23.00 USD plus gratuities.

 

The world needs more Intrepid people:  

 

Do you dream of inspiring travelers and helping them fall in love with their destination by immersing them in your local culture and exposing them to real life experiences? Being a Tour Leader with Intrepid, you will do just that!  

  

Every day will be different, but every day you will:  

  

  • Have passion and knowledge for and of your destination  

  • A passion for travel, food, culture, and/or history  

  • Excellent story-telling skills  

  • Excellent communication skills with individuals and group of people  

  • Empathy and emotional intelligence  

  • High standards customer experience  

  • An understanding of and belief in Intrepid’s Responsible Travel philosophy and Core Values  

  • Outstanding organizational management skills  

  • Problem solving and decision-making capacities  

  • A friendly, engaging, and energetic personality 

 

To be considered you may also have:  

  

  • Excellent communication in English and ideally one other local language (the more the better!)    

  • Strong customer service experience and experience in developing a rapport with a broad range of traveller's  

  • Ability to manage trip budget and handle sums of money   

  • Map reading skills and a good sense of direction 

 

Additional Skills & Attributes: 

  

  • A willingness to work flexible hours according to the groups needs 

  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificates recommended
