  • Compensation of $27.50 - $35.50 an hour plus gratuities and performance bonuses.

What you offer: 

  • Passion for Boston, Food, Culture and History. 
  • A friendly, engaging and energetic personality. 
  • Available weekdays and/or weekends (Ideally 3+ days a week).  
  • Great storytelling and excellent public speaking/communication skills. 
  • Punctuality and professionalism. 
  • Must reside in Boston or the Greater Boston Area, as you will be responsible for arriving at the designated start point of each tour. 
  • A desire to help people really connect with our city and have a great time. 
  • Empathy and emotional intelligence 
  • Problem solving and decision-making skills 
  • An understanding of and belief in Intrepid’s Responsible Travel philosophy and Core Values 
  • Ability to manage trip budget and handle sums of money. 
  • Firsthand experience of Urban Adventure tours in Boston. If you have not previously attended a UA tour then you will have the opportunity to join as a guest, free of charge.
