Sales Manager, Wildland
United States
At Wildland, we believe the best adventures start with the right connection. As the Wildland Sales Manager, you'll lead and support a team of Adventure Consultants who help travelers find experiences that inspire them to explore the outdoors.
This role is responsible for the day-to-day leadership of the team, including coaching, performance management, communication, scheduling, and employee development. You'll create an environment where team members feel supported, challenged, and accountable while helping build a stronger sales culture that delivers exceptional experiences for our guests.
Working closely with the Senior Sales Manager, you'll help implement new processes, support organizational initiatives, and guide the team through an exciting period of growth and evolution. Through strong communication and people leadership, you'll help build trust, drive accountability, and support the successful adoption of change.
You'll also oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring service standards are maintained while identifying opportunities to improve team effectiveness. From managing schedules and resources to monitoring performance and supporting operational priorities, you'll keep the team organized, engaged, and set up for success.
This role is ideal for a manager who enjoys developing people, creating structure, and leading teams through change. While the long-term vision is clear, we're looking for someone who is comfortable navigating ambiguity, building trust, and helping bring that vision to life.
This is a permanent, hybrid role based out of our office in Golden, Colorado, with an expectation of working in the office at least three days per week. Flexible working hours are required to collaborate with the wider team across multiple time zones, and occasional weekend, evening, or holiday work may be necessary.
