Regional Operations Manager
The Regional Operations Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the successful, safe, and profitable operation of Intrepid & Wildland Trekking Co.’s program areas, in alignment with organizational policies, standards, and best practices. This role is responsible for the overall performance of the assigned region, ensuring that office and guide teams are effectively hired, trained, supported, and managed to deliver exceptional operational outcomes and a positive employee experience.
The Regional Operations Manager leads and partners closely with Deputy Operations Managers to support contracting, reservations, sales, emergency response, hiring and training, and other branch functions. As business needs evolve, the Regional Operations Manager may also be required to perform additional duties beyond the core responsibilities outlined here.
This is a Full-Time Permanent Position that will operate on a hybrid basis out of our office in Denver, Colorado. The role offers a salary range of $67,000–$72,000 USD, based on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package and a variety of exciting perks.

In-depth knowledge of product, itineraries, destinations, and the adventure travel industry

Ability to manage crises calmly and effectively and take responsibility for the safety of others.

Outstanding organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to delegate.

Experience managing people and teams, including remote staff and leaders.

Ability to travel to program branch locations, up to 4-5 times a year, as needed

Office duties required, ability to lift to 20 pounds and work at a computer station up to 40 hours per week;

Skilled in communicating clearly, managing expectations, and ensuring employees understand and adopt new systems, structures, and ways of working.

Meet company and DOT driving requirements and maintain a valid Driver’s License; Must be at least 21 years of age and able to pass a criminal background and MVR check;

Maintain a current Wilderness First Responder, CPR & Epi Certification;
