The world needs more Intrepid people: 

As the Key Account Manager, you will play a key role in managing a new national partnership between Intrepid Travel and REI Co-op, a leading outdoor gear company. This partnership will bring co-branded Intrepid trips to REI’s community of outdoor enthusiasts across the United States. You will own the day-to-day relationship, driving sales growth, product and ensuring seamless collaboration between Intrepid and REI’s internal teams.  

This includes coordinating closely with stakeholders across marketing, operations, legal, customer service, and executive teams on both sides to deliver shared commercial and strategic goals. In this role, you will oversee campaign planning, lead forecasting, CRM updates, and performance tracking; prepare and present weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports with growth recommendations; manage reporting against joint revenue targets; and represent Intrepid at relevant events, trade shows, and partner activations.  

You will also identify new opportunities to expand the partnership, deepen engagement with REI’s customer base, and work cross-functionally with Intrepid’s Partnerships, Marketing, Product, Operations, and Customer Experience teams to ensure aligned, high-quality delivery. 

This is a Full-Time Permanent Position that will operate on a hybrid basis out of our office in Seattle, USA. 

 

Some of the experience you’ll bring with you may include: 

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business development or account management in the travel and tourism industry 

  • Proven success managing B2B or strategic partnerships 

  • Strong relationship management and communication skills 

  • Experience working cross-functionally in complex organizations 

  • Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and data-driven reporting 

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver in a fast-paced, collaborative environment 

  • Must be based in Seattle with ability to travel across the US 

 

The salary range for this role is USD $90,000–$100,000 per year, depending on experience and skills. In addition to competitive pay, we offer great benefits and some amazing perks because we believe in supporting our people both at work and beyond.
