We are Intrepid

We are Intrepid

Travel can do more than take people somewhere new. At Intrepid, we believe it can create positive change for the people and places we explore. As our Head of Impact, Americas, you'll help bring that belief to life by growing The Intrepid Foundation and embedding responsible business practices across the region.

A key focus of this role is growing support for The Intrepid Foundation in the Americas through partnerships and fundraising. You'll build a pipeline of values-aligned partners and funders, develop compelling funding proposals, and work closely with our global team to turn shared values into meaningful action. You'll also help build community and connection, champion environmental and social initiatives, and embed impact across our experiences and operations.

This role suits someone who enjoys operating at multiple levels. You'll help shape strategy, build plans, and then work across the business to bring them to life. Plus, you'll be equally comfortable thinking about the big picture and getting hands-on to deliver meaningful outcomes. If you're motivated by purpose, partnerships and positive impact, this is an opportunity to help shape the future of impact across Intrepid's Americas business.

This is a hybrid role based in one of our offices in Seattle, Denver or Toronto. The starting salary is USD $85,000, with the overall range varying by region and experience, as this role is advertised across multiple locations in the US and Canada.

Some of the essential experiences you'll bring may include:

  • At least five years' experience working within a 501c3 charity or an equivalent non-profit or philanthropic organization

  • Demonstrated experience building and managing stakeholder relationships within a business development, fundraising or partnership environment.

  • Experience working with fundraising, financial targets and budgets.

  • Working knowledge of environmental and social impacts within a business setting.

  • An understanding of philanthropy within the US context.

  • A genuine connection to Intrepid's responsible travel philosophy and Purpose Beyond Profit ethos.
