At Intrepid Travel, we believe business can be a force for good, and our Finance team plays a critical role in making that happen.  

 

As the Commercial Finance Manager, USA for Intrepid Travel, you will be a key member of, and business partner to the US management team, providing essential reporting, planning, analysis, and commercial advice that allows the team to make sound and confident business decisions. You will lead the Finance function for all aspects of Intrepid’s US operations, from sales and marketing through to operational delivery. Success in this role requires resourcefulness, a high level of initiative, and the ability to tackle problems in a methodical and logical way, while maintaining flexibility in a continually evolving business environment. 

 

This is a permanent, full-time hybrid role based out of our Seattle office, where you’ll be expected to work in-office three days per week. The salary range is $100,000–$125,000 USD, depending on your experience and skills, plus a generous benefits package and excellent perks. 

 

Some of the experience you’ll bring with you may include: 

  • Current CPA or Chartered Accountant (or equivalent) 

  • 5+ years' experience in a similar role, particularly with exposure to operations 

  • Experience in business performance reporting and planning with demonstrated commercial and business acumen 

  • Ability to work in a geographically dispersed global organization with stakeholders across numerous time zones 

 

Would be a bonus if you also have experience with: 

  • Prior experience in the travel industry 

  • Knowledge of 501(c)(3) charities 

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Salesforce, QuickBooks, and/or IBM TM1 

  • Experience managing a broad finance function supporting Sales, Marketing and Operational teams, and alsoincluding a shared services team
