We are Intrepid

The world needs more Intrepid people:

We’re looking for Sales Consultants to join our team. You’ll sell Intrepid Travel’s unique, socially responsible experiences to customers, providing outstanding service across phone, email, and live chat. This is your opportunity to be at the heart of the customer journey, delivering unforgettable trips from the first enquiry through to departure.

You’ll respond to leads, achieve sales targets, and provide expert advice on Intrepid products and destinations. You’ll also support colleagues, assist in training new team members, and contribute to campaigns and promotions that drive growth.

This is a full-time, permanent role based in our vibrant Brixton, London office, working on a hybrid pattern of 2-3 days per week onsite. The role operates on a 7-day rotating schedule, including some weekend shifts. During the initial five weeks, you’ll benefit from a structured training programme with a combination of classroom learning and peer shadowing.

Multiple hires: We are recruiting several Sales Consultants (and one role requiring fluent German, if applying for the German-speaking Sales Consultant, please make your language ability clear in your application). For the German-speaking position, we would ideally like the candidate to be based in London; however, we are open to them working remotely from Germany.

Some of the experience you’ll bring with you may include:

  • Experience in sales or customer service, ideally in the travel industry

  • Fluent in English, written and spoken (and fluent German if applying for our German-Speaking Sales Consultant role)

  • Proven ability to achieve sales targets and KPIs

  • Passion for travel and strong knowledge of Intrepid products and destinations

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities

  • Strong team player with a positive attitude and willingness to collaborate

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of Starship, Salesforce, or other CRM/reservation systems is desirable
