PR Executive
Intrepid Travel is looking for a PR Executive to help bring our brand to life through consumer media. Working closely with our Consumer PR Manager, you’ll help deliver our UK PR strategy, using your media relationships, creativity and storytelling skills to keep Intrepid front of mind. From spotting reactive opportunities to developing campaigns that make an impact, you’ll play a key role in generating meaningful coverage for one of the world’s leading adventure travel brands.
An important part of the role is managing and bringing to life Intrepid’s industry-leading press trip programme. You’ll help secure top-tier media, coordinate itineraries with our local operations teams and host journalists on the ground in incredible destinations. Alongside this, you’ll develop and maintain relationships across the travel, lifestyle and influencer space, manage media enquiries, brief spokespeople and write compelling press releases and pitches that get people talking. You’ll also support consumer campaigns, activations and media events, working with our global PR team to uncover stories that resonate with our UK audience.
With excellent writing skills and strong attention to detail, you’ll help tell Intrepid's stories across a fast-changing media landscape and contribute to campaigns that showcase the joy and impact of responsible travel. In return, you’ll join a fantastic team, have the opportunity to lead press trips to amazing destinations and play a role in shaping one of the world's most respected travel brands. If you're a passionate communicator who thrives in a fast-paced, global environment and looking to build a career in travel PR, we’d love to hear from you.
This is a full-time permanent position based out of our office in Brixton, with flexibility to work 2 days a week from home, paying up to £35,000 annually.
Some of the experience you’ll bring includes:
-
3+ years public relations experience
-
Passionate storyteller with the ability to develop compelling and newsworthy narratives and of course excellent written and verbal skills
-
Some knowledge of the travel industry and travel media
-
Foundational understanding of how to work with consumer-facing media outlets
-
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work towards tight deadlines
