Commercial Analyst, UK/EU
At Intrepid Travel, we believe in using data to drive strategic decisions and fuel growth. We’re looking for a Commercial Analyst to join our UK/EU team. In this role, you’ll track commercial trends, analyse performance drivers, and build dashboards to showcase KPIs, providing critical insights to enhance revenue, promotions, and operational efficiency. You will collaborate closely with the Sales, Marketing, and Partnerships teams, offering actionable recommendations to improve tactics and strategies across the business. You’ll also partner with global finance teams to support forecasting, budgeting, and monthly reporting.
What you’ll do:
- Track commercial trends and identify key drivers of performance.
- Build and maintain Power BI dashboards, tracking KPIs and secondary metrics to improve revenue performance and operational efficiency.
- Provide ad-hoc and BAU insights to inform commercial strategy, including recommendations on optimal discounting, promotion depth, and product mix.
- Collaborate with the Sales, Marketing, and Partnerships teams to provide analysis that drives successful campaigns and enhances operational success.
- Partner with UK Finance and global teams for forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.
- Analyse financial data to identify opportunities for cost-saving initiatives and operational improvements across the UK entity.
This is a full-time, permanent position operating in a hybrid capacity out of our London, Brixton office, with the expectation to be in the office 2-3 days per week.
Some of the experience you’ll bring with you may include:
- 2-3 years of experience in a commercial finance or analytical role.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, SUMIFs, VLOOKUPs, INDEX/MATCH, charts, conditional formatting, and data cleaning).
- Strong experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools, with the ability to build dashboards and complex reports.
- Experience in stakeholder management, with the ability to provide actionable insights to multiple teams.
- Proven ability to analyse complex data sets and present clear, actionable insights that influence decision-making.
- A College Diploma or University Degree in Business, Accounting, or Economics.
