The world needs more Intrepid people: 

We’re looking for a proactive and detail‑focused Assistant Accountant to join our EMEA Finance team. In this role, you’ll support the Regional Business Partner – UK & Europe with the accounting and reporting for our UK/EU sales entities and North Europe inbound DMCs. It’s an excellent opportunity for a part‑qualified accountant who’s ready to develop, build analytical skills, and gain hands‑on experience across a broad range of finance activities in a truly global business.


You’ll work closely with our Shared Service Centres and wider Europe Finance team to keep our financial processes running smoothly — from reconciliations and month‑end tasks through to compliance and audit support. Your work will help ensure the accuracy and integrity of the financial information behind our regional operations.


This is a permanent, hybrid role based in our Brixton, London office, with approximately 2–3 days per week onsite.


What we’re looking for
While personality, attitude, and a collaborative approach are incredibly important to success in this role, a strong baseline of technical accounting knowledge is equally essential. We can support you to grow and develop, but this role requires a solid foundation that enables you to work confidently and keep pace with the team from the start.


Some of the experience you’ll bring includes:

  • A degree-level qualification in finance, accounting, or a related field
  • A solid understanding of core accounting processes and systems
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis)
  • Great time management and the ability to meet deadlines
  • A proactive, positive, can‑do attitude with a willingness to learn and get involved in all areas of the business
  • Comfort working with diverse teams and across cultures
  • Accountability, teamwork, and the ability to stay focused on detailed tasks


Desirable

  • Progressing towards CA/CIMA (or equivalent)
  • Experience working in an international environment


Timeline & Interview Process

We are looking to move swiftly and aim for a start date in early April, allowing for a thorough onboarding and training period.

After shortlisting, the selection process will include:

  1. Willo Assessment - If selected, you may be invited to complete a short Willo assessment, which includes a mix of video and written questions. (Willo is an easy‑to‑use online video platform that lets you record answers in your own time, on any smart device. This helps us meet more candidates quickly and gives you a flexible way to share your experience with us at a time that suits you.)
  2. 45‑Minute Video Interview - A competency‑based interview with members of the Finance team.
  3. In‑Person Interview – Brixton Office - An opportunity to meet the team, see our working environment, and gain a feel for our culture.
