Running unforgettable trips takes great leadership behind the scenes. As Deputy Operations Manager for Türkiye, this role supports the Operations Manager and wider team to ensure smooth, profitable, and high-quality trip operations. From handling day-to-day challenges to supporting tour leaders and maintaining our high standards, this role is key to delivering incredible experiences for our travellers. Whether it’s troubleshooting on the ground or working on long-term improvements, this is an opportunity to make a real impact in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. 


This is a full-time, permanent role based onsite in our vibrant office in Istanbul, Türkiye.


Some of the experience you’ll bring with you may include: 

  • Extensive travel experience in Türkiye and a passion for adventure travel 

  • Previous experience in the travel industry, preferably in Operations

  • Experience in people management, including coaching and supporting teams 

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks at once 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and operational systems (training provided) 

  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal 

  • Understanding of regional culture, business etiquette, and Intrepid’s Responsible Travel philosophy
