As a Senior Manager People & Culture, you’ll play a pivotal role in elevating our employee experience and driving performance within our Colombo office. You’ll be part of the Colombo Leadership Team, reporting to the Country General Manager and acting as a strategic advisor on a wide range of People matters.  


You’ll lead the local People Team while overseeing office-wide People operations. Partnering with the Global People team, you’ll ensure our practices reflect the Intrepid Standard and support our business strategy. 


Beyond leading, you’ll coach managers on core operational People services — from recruitment and retention to L&D, employee relations, remuneration, performance reviews, and beyond — ensuring people-centered support at every step.  

Whether it’s introducing change, fostering talent, or managing compliance, you’ll be a key voice in decisions that shape Intrepid Colombo! 

 

This is a full-time permanent position, operating in a hybrid capacity out of our office in Colombo, Sri Lanka. 


Some of the experience you’ll bring may include: 
 

  • A degree or professional qualification in Human Resources or a related field (a Masters degree would be advantageous) 

  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience heading or managing the HR function 

  • Extensive experience in strategic and operational human resource management. 

  • Proficient in all HR key areas including Rewards, Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, Learning and Development. 

  • Strong working knowledge of current employment laws, labour market trends and wage regulations 

  • Proven experience collaborating with global stakeholders or working in a cross-cultural environment 


You’ll also have excellent organisational and change management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously!
