As our Senior DevOps Engineer, you’ll design, operate and continuously improve our AWS infrastructure, delivery pipelines and automation. Using Terraform as our main Infrastructure as Code platform, you’ll create consistent and scalable environments that help our engineering teams deliver software safely.
Working closely with engineering, security, data, QA, support and technology leadership teams, you’ll improve platform reliability, CI/CD pipelines and deployment practices while making system health visible through effective monitoring, dashboards and alerts. You’ll also strengthen security, resilience and cost efficiency, reduce manual work, maintain clear operational documentation, and support incident response and root cause analysis.

This is a full-time permanent position, where you will work in our office in Colombo, Sri Lanka. To provide the best experience to our people, this role would operate in our office with the opportunity to work from home on occasion.
Some of the essential experience you’ll bring may include:
- 2+ years hands-on experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, platform engineering, or SRE, proficient in designing, operating and improving AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC), including creating reusable modules and managing infrastructure across multiple environments.
- Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes/ EKS, including deploying and managing applications in production environments.
- Experience building and improving CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, to support automated deployments and release automation.
- A solid understanding of AWS services, networking, and cloud security (including technologies such as VPC, IAM, EC2, EKS/ECS, Lambda, RDS, S3, Route 53, load balancing, etc.)
- Experience with monitoring, and incident management, using tools such as CloudWatch, New Relic, or similar platforms.
- Strong scripting and automation skills using Bash, Python, or similar tools.
You'll also have a passion for supporting and mentoring engineers in DevOps practices including secure software delivery and platform reliability.
