In this role, you’ll design, implement and maintain high-quality, interactive Power BI reports, dashboards and semantic models. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to build data models, ensuring increased scalability and self-service analytics within the Microsoft Fabrics ecosystem.  

Beyond building, you’ll play a key role in user-training, supporting teams with Power BI and data visualisation issues. Your expertise will refine data transformations, optimise performance and ultimately empower decision-making!   

 

This full-time permanent position operates in a hybrid capacity out of our office in Colombo, Sri Lanka.    
 

Some of the experience you’ll bring may include: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analytics or relevant field 

  • 3 years' experience across data engineering, data modelling, data architecture, and data warehousing. 

  • Strong technical expertise in Microsoft Data/BI components, mainly SQL, Power BI and Fabric.  
    Knowledge of SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, ADF, Azure would be beneficial. 

  • Proven experience in creating Power BI reports with strong data visualisation skills. 

  • Experience with managing Power BI tenants, ensuring governance and data security 

  • Demonstrable data modelling skills (such as Kimball, dimensional and relational).
