At Intrepid, travel is more than just moving from one place to another - it’s about creating unforgettable experiences. As a Junior Reservations Executive, you’ll help make these experiences possible!

In this role, you’ll work closely with our Reservations Manager to coordinate accommodation, transport and activity bookings across our Sri Lanka trips. From confirming reservations to answering booking queries, you’ll help ensure everything is ready for our trips to run smoothly.  

You’ll collaborate with local suppliers, monitor booking requests and cancellations, and ensure every reservation is recorded and budgeted correctly. When booking challenges arise, you'll work with the Reservations team to find solutions while maintaining excellent standards. Whether it’s securing a last-minute hotel room, coordinating transport arrangements or following up on a supplier confirmation, you’ll directly contribute to creating meaningful memories for our customers!

This is a full-time permanent position based in our office in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Some flexibility in work hours is expected due to the operational nature of the role.

Some of the experience you’ll bring with you may include: 

  • 1-2 years’ experience within the travel industry or DMC. 
  • Hands-on experience in a reservations, travel operations or similar role, with an understanding of availability, allotments and reservation processes. 
  • Good communication skills in English and local languages. 
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Word, Excel and Outlook). 
  • Great organisational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Ability to collaborate, coordinate and build positive relationships with local suppliers. 
  • Confidence managing multiple tasks and deadlines. 

Most importantly, you’ll be passionate about the travel industry and gaining experience in a global environment!
