Junior Finance Executive - Payroll
At Intrepid, we’re all about making travel a force for good - and that starts with taking care of our people. As a Junior Finance Executive in our Payroll team, you’ll assist with payroll processing for our team members in the ANZ region, update employee data in our systems, and manage bank and tax details correctly. You’ll keep a close eye on payments and deductions, while collecting other key information for payroll.
You’ll also support the Lead Payroll Specialist with essential tasks like responding to payroll queries and collating data for business requests. Maintaining integrity and discretion are key as you’ll be working with confidential information most of the time.
Beyond payroll, you’ll gain some exposure to audits, analysis and reporting, ultimately supporting your career growth in Finance!
This is a full-time permanent position, where you will work in our office in Colombo, Sri Lanka. To provide the best experience to our people, this role would operate in our office with the opportunity to work from home on occasion.
A bit about you:
- Undergraduate in Accounting or equivalent professional qualification.
- Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a Finance role, especially with payroll.
- Experience in preparing payroll, with a good understanding of general ledger and payroll guidelines.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Excellent English communication skills and great attention to detail.
- Experience in handling foreign payroll will be a definite advantage.
