As an Accountant, you'll join our team in Valencia to support financial and management accounting processes for our West Europe Country offices.

Working closely with our Group Finance team and Shared Services Centre in Morocco, you'll handle accurate financial reporting, maintain strong financial controls, and help ensure we meet our accounting and compliance obligations across the region.

In this role, you'll support a range of activities, including management reporting, reconciliations, month-end processes, and financial analysis. You'll balance day-to-day accounting responsibilities with opportunities to improve processes and drive efficiency. From reviewing financial information to preparing tax filings and liaising with local tax authorities, you'll play a key role in maintaining the financial health of the business!

This is a full-time permanent position based in our office in Valencia, Spain. We work in a 3-2-1 hybrid model, with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home, including at least 1 office day on a Monday or Friday.

Some of the experience you’ll bring with you may include: 

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline with a professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA, or local equivalent) 
  • 1-2 years relevant post-qualification experience. 
  • Proven experience working in a finance or general accounting role within Spain and Italy, including  statutory and tax compliance. 
  • Experience using ERP systems such as Dynamics 365 (or similar finance systems) along with advanced Microsoft Excel skills. 
  • Strong communication skills in both Spanish and English, with the ability to explain financial information clearly to a range of stakeholders. 

 
You’ll also have great organisation skills, a keen eye for detail and passion for consistently delivering high-quality work! 

Pay Transparency:

In line with the EU Pay Transparency Directive, we are committed to fair, equitable and transparent pay practices. We do not ask candidates about their current or previous remuneration. Compensation is determined based on objective criteria, including the requirements of the role, relevant skills, experience and market benchmarks.
The approved salary range for this position is €30,000 – €32,000 EUR gross per annum.
