We are Intrepid

The world needs more Intrepid people:

We’re looking for a Senior Destination Product & Sales Executive to join our Intrepid team in Johannesburg. This is a full-time, permanent, hybrid role, where you’ll be part of our destination expert team, helping to source and create sustainable, experience-rich travel (SERT) products, inclusions, and itineraries that both delight our customers and deliver strong commercial results.

Reporting to the Destination Product & Sales Manager, you’ll support the production of priced group itineraries, tailor-made FIT trips and Private Groups; balancing customer expectations with commercial requirements, while ensuring trips are profitable, well-documented, and of the highest quality.

  • Proven ability to build strong working relationships with internal teams, external clients, and suppliers

  • Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Exceptional attention to detail

  • Customer-focused mindset with a track record of delivering excellent customer satisfaction

  • Personal or professional travel experience in some of Intrepid’s key destinations

  • Understanding of cultural differences across the regions

  • Strong self-motivation and the ability to take initiative and work independently
