Destination Product & Sales Manager, South Africa
We’re looking for a Destination Product & Sales Manager, Southern Africa to join our team in Johannesburg on a permanent, full-time basis.
This is your chance to shape how travellers experience Southern Africa - building meaningful, sustainable, and commercially strong travel experiences that truly connect people and places.
We work in a 3-2-1 hybrid model, with 3 days in the office and 2 from home, including at least 1 office day on a Monday or Friday.
In this role, you’ll sit at the centre of our Southern Africa product and sales strategy - designing and pricing group itineraries, collaborating closely with Sales, Ops and Product teams, and building strong supplier partnerships. You’ll take ownership of creating market-ready, experience-rich trips that drive sales, hit margin targets and deliver great customer outcomes.
This is a great fit for someone who knows the Southern African travel landscape inside out and enjoys balancing commercial thinking with creativity. You’ll thrive working cross-functionally, influencing stakeholders, and shaping products that are both sustainable and competitive.
Some of the experience you’ll bring with you may include:
-
Strong experience in tourism across product, sales, operations or commercial roles (5+ years)
-
In-depth knowledge of Southern Africa travel operations, ideally within small group adventure travel
-
Proven experience designing, costing and pricing itineraries
-
Experience working with DMCs and tourism suppliers, including negotiation
-
Ability to create commercially viable, experience-led travel products
-
Familiarity with travel systems (e.g. Salesforce, Travel Studio, Elements) and strong Excel skills
-
Understanding of global travel trends and customer expectations
We know people bring different experiences and perspectives, so even if you don’t tick every box, we still encourage you to apply.
