The world needs more Intrepid people: 

As the Operations Manager, you will secure the safe, efficient, and profitable delivery of all trips across Peru and Bolivia. This includes itineraries operated under Intrepid brands as well as those managed for external business partners, ensuring full compliance with company standards, policies, and Responsible Travel principles. 

 

As the primary operational link between local offices, suppliers, the Intrepid DMC Global Operations team, and Product teams, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding service quality, traveler safety, and brand integrity. In addition, you will contribute to strategic planning and provide leadership as a key member of the regional management team. 

 

This full-time, permanent position will operate out of our office in Lima, Peru. 

     

Some of the experience you’ll bring with you will include: 

  • Proven track record in driving operational excellence and leading teams within the tourism industry. 

  • Extensive knowledge of adventure travel products and destinations in Peru and Bolivia. 

  • Strong crisis management and safety oversight capabilities. 

  • Excellent organizational, delegation skills and project management. 

  • Fluent in Spanish and English, verbal and written. 

  • High computer literacy and new technological platforms.
