The world needs more Intrepid people: 

As the Operations Assistant, ensure our travelers' have the trip of a lifetime in Peru! You will be responsible for the administration and smooth operation of trips, including updating operational documents (emergency contacts, directories, tour leader and supplier information) and managing feedback mailboxes. Additionally, the Operations Assistant will provide support to passengers in the event of a medical emergency in Cusco. 

Reporting to the Operations Coordinator for Cusco, you will collaborate closely with your own department as well as other teams such as Reservations and Finance to help Intrepid achieve its company goals. 

This is a full-time position, operating out of our office in Cusco, Peru on a fixed term basis.

  

Some of the essential experience you’ll have include:  

  • At least 1 year experience working in the travel industry, ideally in administration  

  • Knowledge of destinations in Peru is highly desirable  

  • Graduate Tourism Degree is highly desirable  

  • Experience in administrative tasks and strong computer skills, using Microsoft Office and other software 

  • Excellent written and spoken communicate skills in both Spanish and English 

  

You’ll be willing to work flexible hours and have the ability to handle a multitude of tasks that may be on the go at one time. Your communication and organisational skills will be the catalyst to your success in this role.
