Join our team as an Accounting Trainee and gain real-world experience while building the foundation for your finance career! 

The Accounting Trainee is responsible for executing tasks related to the analysis of accounting accounts to ensure the accuracy of balances in the accounts that make up the financial statements. This includes recording daily transactions and assisting in the preparation of reports to support decision-making in the area. 

Among their duties, the Accounting Trainee supports the Accounting Assistant in the necessary tasks to achieve the departments’ and the company’s objectives and goals, contributing to the fulfilment of monthly, annual, and/or local and headquarters-required deadlines. They will also perform the duties inherent to their position within the processes determined by Finance Management. 

 

This is a Full-Time Position that will operate on a hybrid basis out of our office in Lima, Peru.     

 

Some of the experience you’ll bring with you may include: 

  • Student or recent graduate in Accounting, Finance, or Economics. 

  • Knowledge of taxation, including VAT and Corporate Income Tax. 

  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems. 

  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Power BI. 

  • Intermediate-level English proficiency is desirable; advanced proficiency is an advantage. 

 

Some additional desirable experience you may bring with you may include: 

  • Experience in account analysis and reconciliation. 

  • Recording of travel expense reports (trips), petty cash, and administrative expenses.
