The world needs more Intrepid people: 

Bring the flavours of Marrakech to life as the newest Cooking Class chef in a truly unique and intimate Riad. As a Cooking Class Chef, you will deliver engaging and authentic Moroccan cooking classes while supporting the culinary operations of the riad. The role involves preparing and demonstrating traditional Moroccan dishes, ensuring consistent quality, presentation, and hygiene standards, and providing an exceptional, guest-focused culinary experience that promotes Moroccan culture and cuisine.

 

In this hands-on role, you’ll prepare and present a variety of dishes in line with menu specifications, ensuring consistency, quality and creativity in every plate. Your responsibilities will vary from managing food stock and maintaining kitchen organisation to contributing to menu development and new recipe ideas, all whilst at the heart of kitchen operations. Working closely with the wider team, you’ll ensure a smooth service, uphold hygiene and food safety standards, and help create a collaborative and efficient kitchen environment which leave customers happy. 

 

We’re looking for an experienced chef with a strong background in Moroccan cuisine, formal culinary training, and a solid understanding of HACCP principles. If you thrive in a high pressure setting, are passionate about purpose-driven hospitality and making a positive impact through food, then this is your chance to elevate your career in an inspiring, globally connected hospitality environment.  

 

This is a full-time, permanent role based in Marrakech, Morocco. 

 

Some of the experience you’ll bring with you may include: 

  • Degree or certification in culinary  

  • Proven experience of +3 years in Riads or similar performing a comparable function 

  • Knowledge of HACCP 

  • Extensive knowledge of Moroccan cuisine and culinary techniques 

  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and guest satisfaction 

  • Excellent leadership and teamwork skills; Creativity, dynamism, and flexibility 

  • Fluency in Arabic and/or French; English proficiency is a plus
