The world needs more Intrepid people: 

As the Contracting Manager, you will contribute to Intrepid's success by providing competitive prices through establishing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to secure the most advantageous services, contract terms, and booking allocations. You will also build and maintain a portfolio of suitable product options that enable sales teams and customer-facing brands to create innovative itineraries tailored to their needs. 

 

In this role, you will be responsible for managing suppliers and costings to ensure the successful and profitable operation of all Intrepid trips throughout Mexico. This includes accountability for sourcing and ongoing management of suppliers who provide quality services at competitive prices, as well as delivering accurate and timely costings to our clients. 

 

This is a Full-Time Permanent Position that will operate on a hybrid basis in Mexico City, Mexico. 

 

Some of the experience you’ll bring with you may include: 

  • A thorough understanding of and passion for Intrepid's travel style, including our different brands' styles. 

  • A strong existing network of contacts, products, suppliers, destinations, and the travel industry in Mexico 

  • Experience in managing people and teams, including remote employees (management training and/or qualifications advantageous). 

  • Experience in reservations processes and systems, contracting, negotiation, and product development. 

  • Outstanding commercial, pricing, analytical and negotiation skills. 

  • Excellent written and spoken communicate skills in both Spanish and English.
