Finance & Accounts Assistant

As a Finance & Accounts Assistant in Malaysia, you’ll play a key role in keeping our financial operations running smoothly. You’ll be responsible for recording and reconciling financial transactions in a timely manner, while supporting payments and day-to-day finance tasks.
Collaboration is key in this role – you'll work closely with our Tour Leaders to ensure their accounts are accurate, reconciled, and ready for each trip.
You’ll also support the reconciliation of trip expenses and payments made from our Malaysia office, along with bank reconciliations, accounts payables, and submitting e-invoices for supplier invoices.

This is a full-time contract position of 6 months, operating out of our office in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia.
A bit about you:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in bookkeeping, accounts payable, cash flow management, bank journals.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email applications, with hands on experience in accounting software (such as D365 or similar).
- Good English communication skills.
- Experience working in accounting within travel & tourism would be advantageous.
