The world needs more Intrepid people: 

As our Contracting & Product Manager, you’ll be at the heart of delivering amazing trips for our travelers. You’ll work with suppliers across Malaysia to choose experiences, activities and accommodation that reflect our values and meet our customers’ needs. 

In this diverse role, you'll secure the best deals, negotiate competitive rates, and build trusted relationships with our local suppliers. You'll lead the team in creating suitable travel options that offer great value and a wide range of experiences. Collaborating with the Sales and Operations teams, you’ll gather trip insights and ensure accurate supplier information, enabling our Sales team to create incredible itineraries.  

Managing contracts and supplier records will be a key part of your role, keeping everything up-to-date and aligned with our standards. You’ll also work closely with our Global Contracting & Product teams to implement procurement and pricing practices within our Malaysia Country Office.

This is a full-time permanent position based in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia. To provide the best experience for our people, this role would operate in our office with the opportunity to work from home on occasion.

Some of the essential experience you’ll bring may include: 

  • Proven experience in managing tourism-supplier relationships, including cost negotiation, contracting, procurement and trip pricing within the travel industry. 
  • Excellent English communication and organisational skills. 
  • Proficient in Malaysian trip operations, with extensive knowledge of local products, suppliers, and destinations in Borneo and Peninsular Malaysia. 
  • Passionate about managing and leading a team to success. 
  • Proficiency with travel-related systems, Excel and MS Office applications.
