We are Intrepid

The world needs more Intrepid people:

At Intrepid, unforgettable trips start long before travellers arrive - they’re built by detail-driven people who understand the destination, move fast, and care deeply about getting things right. We’re looking for a Senior Reservations Assistant, Kenya to help make that happen.

Based full-time, onsite in Nairobi, Kenya, you’ll play a key role in turning confirmed quotes into seamless, well-coordinated bookings across accommodation, transport and activities. Working closely with suppliers, agents and internal teams, you’ll manage reservations for Intrepid Travel and other Intrepid Group brands, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and great service at every step.

This is a hands-on role for someone who knows the reservations process inside out, is confident working with booking systems, and enjoys juggling multiple bookings while keeping the detail spot-on. If you take pride in being organised, responsive and reliable - and you enjoy working as part of a close-knit team - this could be a great fit.

Some of the experience you’ll bring with you may include:

  • Solid experience in travel reservations within a tour operator or DMC environment

  • Strong regional and destination knowledge, ideally within Kenya or East Africa

  • Proven experience using reservations and ticketing systems

  • Confidence booking and confirming accommodation, transport and activities with suppliers

  • Strong written and spoken communication skills in English and a relevant local language

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and internal booking systems

Please note: Over the Christmas and New Year period, we will be pausing active recruitment. You may experience a delay in communication during this time, but we’ll resume reviewing applications in early January. Thank you for your patience.
