The world needs more Intrepid people: 

At Intrepid, we bring dreams to reality through travel - which is why we are looking for a Reservations Coordinator in Japan to perfect the details so that our customers can enjoy their trips worry-free! 

In this role, you’ll support our Japan Reservations function with managing accurate and timely bookings for transport, accommodation and activities across all our scheduled trips. You’ll also ensure the budgeted costs align and that all information is accurately recorded in the systems. 

When faced with issues, you’ll put on your problem-solving hat, providing feedback and insightful alternatives where appropriate. And along the way, you’ll build your people skills by collaborating with colleagues across our Sales, Operations and Product teams. Above all, you’ll work with the sole focus of ensuring our customers always receive the best care and service!

This is a full-time permanent position, where you will work in our office in Osaka, Japan. To provide the best experience for our people, this role would operate in our office with the opportunity to work from home on occasion.

Some of the experience you’ll bring may include: 

  • Experience and understanding in Japan’s travel industry, ideally with reservations experience. 
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills in Japanese and English. 
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Word, Excel and Outlook). 
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and consistent error-free delivery. 
  • Certified Travel Supervisor qualification (総合旅行業務取扱管理者) would be highly regarded.  
  • Understanding of Intrepid Japan’s travel style across all brands.
