Reservations Coordinator
As a Reservations Coordinator, you’ll handle administration and follow-up support for bookings to meet both Intrepid and external clients’ requirements. You'll ensure that all bookings with suppliers are accurate and confirmed in time for scheduled trips. You’ll play a pivotal role in recording precise booking details onto our internal systems. You’ll also bring fresh ideas to tackle cost and reservations issues. By collaborating with the Sales and Operations teams, you’ll make sure our customers receive excellent service!
The role also includes sourcing new accommodations and activities that meet Intrepid’s standards, maintaining strong partner relationships, and ensuring accurate budget adjustments, all while supporting the Product team in creating customer-focused itineraries.
This is a full-time permanent position, where you will work in our office in Osaka, Japan. To provide the best experience for our people, this role would operate in our office with the opportunity to work from home occasionally.
Some of the essential experience you’ll bring may include:

Previous experience working in Japan’s travel industry, ideally with reservations

Experience in procurement processes, contracting, negotiation and product development.

Excellent organization and customer service skills

Great attention to detail and ability to deliver error-free tasks within deadlines.

Strong written and verbal communication skills in Japanese and English.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially MS Word, Excel and Outlook)

Certified Travel Supervisor qualification would be highly regarded.
