At Intrepid, we create travel experiences that inspire, connect, and leave a lasting impact. As our Product and Sales Assistant, you’ll play a key role in creating trips that bring adventures to life! 


In this role, you’ll be the go-to person for handling Fully Independent Travel (FIT) enquiries from agents—quoting, building tailored itineraries, and managing manifests and run sheets. You’ll collaborate closely with the Product, Sales, Reservations & Operations teams, supporting the development of our dynamic travel offerings. You’ll also gather valuable customer feedback to refine and enhance our products. By responding to agent requests and proactively recommending customised travel solutions, you'll help shape unforgettable trips for travellers worldwide! 


This is a full-time permanent position, where you will work in our office in Osaka, Japan. To provide the best experience to our people, this role would operate in our office with the opportunity to work from home on occasion. 


Some of the experience you’ll bring with you may include: 

  • Experience managing a range of travel products, including trip design and operations—ideally within small group adventures. 

  • Prior experience working with destination management companies and third-party suppliers, including pricing and cost negotiations. 

  • Strong knowledge of tourism and travel sales trends 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. 

  • Good communication skills in English and Japanese (written and verbal).
