Do you love Japan and sharing it with others? Are you wanting to take your customer service experience to new and exciting places - literally? 

 

As a Tour Leader with Intrepid you get the opportunity to share your country and culture with travellers from all over the world and create unforgettable moments they’ll treasure for a lifetime.  

 

As a Tour Leader with us you will: 

  • Be the face of Intrepid and provide exceptional customer service 

  • Tell stories, deliver travel advice and organise your customers experience 

  • Follow a tour to a budget and itinerary 

  • Reconfirming suppliers, hotels, activities and doing administration along the way 

  • Ensure the safety and well-being of your travellers, assisting with any difficult situations that may arise 

 

To be considered: 

  • You'll need great Customer Service or some Tour Guiding/Leading experience. 

  • English and Japanese language skills are a must have

  • It's important you are comfortable working with large groups of people, as our tour size can range from 8-40 passengers!

  • Great availability is required during our peak seasons of March-May and September-November

  • We are recruiting for leaders to operate trips in 2026 during our peak seasons of March-May and September-November.

  • You will need to be available for training in June/July 2025 followed by on-the-job training in September/November 2025.
