As a Tour Leader with Intrepid you get the opportunity to share your country and culture with travellers from all over the world and create unforgettable moments they’ll treasure for a lifetime.

As a Tour Leader with us you will:

Be the face of Intrepid and provide exceptional customer service
Tell stories, deliver travel advice and organise your customers experience
Follow a tour to a budget and itinerary
Reconfirming suppliers, hotels, activities and doing administration along the way
Ensure the safety and well-being of your travellers, assisting with any difficult situations that may arise

To be considered:

You'll need great Customer Service or some Tour Guiding/Leading experience.
English and Japanese language skills are a must have
It's important you are comfortable working with large groups of people, as our tour size can range from 8-40 passengers!
Great availability is required during our peak seasons of March-May and September-November
We are recruiting for leaders to operate trips in 2026 during our peak seasons of March-May and September-November.
You will need to be available for training in June/July 2025 followed by on-the-job training in September/November 2025.
