Senior Accountant, Italy
This is your chance to play a key role in supporting the financial health of our Italy operations - from accurate reporting through to strong compliance and controls. If you enjoy working with detail, bringing clarity to numbers, and partnering closely with teams, this could be the role for you.
We work in a 3-2-1 hybrid model, with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home, including at least 1 office day on a Monday or Friday.
In this role, you’ll take ownership of financial accounting, statutory compliance, and reporting for our Italy entities. You’ll work closely with the General Manager Italy, Finance Manager Western Europe, Group Finance, and our Shared Services team in Marrakech to ensure everything runs accurately and smoothly.
You’ll also play a key role in delivering reliable financial insights, supporting decision-making, and ensuring all reporting meets both local requirements and group standards.
This role would suit someone with solid post-qualified experience and strong knowledge of Italian accounting and compliance. You’ll enjoy a fast-paced, collaborative environment and be confident owning your work, solving problems, and driving improvements.
Some of the experience you’ll bring with you may include:
-
Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline, with CA/CPA (or local equivalent) and 2–4 years’ post-qualified experience
-
Strong accounting experience within Italy, including statutory reporting and tax compliance
-
Experience working with ERP systems (e.g. Dynamics 365 or similar)
-
Advanced Excel skills and strong Microsoft Office capability
-
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
-
Confidence working across teams and communicating with different stakeholders
-
Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Italian.
