We are Intrepid

The world needs more Intrepid people:

We are looking for a People & Office Coordinator to join our team in Rome on a full-time, permanent basis.

This is your chance to play a key role in supporting our teams across West Europe - from keeping our People processes running smoothly to creating a well-organised and welcoming office environment. If you enjoy variety, love working with people, and take pride in getting the details right, this could be the role for you.

We work in a 3-2-1 hybrid model, with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home, including at least 1 office day on a Monday or Friday.

In this role, you’ll support the People Partner with the coordination and administration of core HR processes - from recruitment and onboarding through to employee lifecycle management, payroll inputs and HR data accuracy. Alongside this, you’ll take ownership of the day-to-day running of the Rome office, while also supporting our offices in Catania and Valencia when needed.

You’ll work closely with teams across Europe, acting as a go-to for first-level employee queries, while ensuring our systems, documentation and processes are accurate, compliant and up to date.

This role would suit someone early in their HR career who enjoys a mix of People and office coordination responsibilities. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and be motivated by keeping things organised, supporting others, and improving how things are done.

Some of the experience you’ll bring with you may include:

  • 1–3 years’ experience in an HR or People coordination role

  • Strong understanding of core HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding and employee lifecycle administration

  • Experience working with HR systems (e.g. HRIS/SAP) and maintaining accurate data

  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and keep processes running smoothly

  • Confidence supporting payroll inputs, documentation and compliance-related tasks

  • Fluency in both Italian and English (Spanish a plus)

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word and Excel

Pay Transparency

In line with the EU Pay Transparency Directive, we are committed to fair, equitable and transparent pay practices. We do not ask candidates about their current or previous remuneration. Compensation is determined based on objective criteria, including the requirements of the role, relevant skills, experience and market benchmarks.

The approved salary range for this position is €32,000 - €35,000 EUR gross per annum.

Please note

  • We recognise that AI use in applications is becoming more common. We review applications carefully, so if you choose to use AI, please do so thoughtfully and include something personal - it really makes a difference.
