We are Intrepid

We are Intrepid

The world needs more Intrepid people:

Do you love welcoming people, creating a warm atmosphere, and helping travellers feel instantly at home? Do you feel most alive by the sea? As a Host on one of our charter sailing catamarans in Greece, you’ll play a key role in delivering an unforgettable onboard experience for our guests as they explore the stunning Sporades.

Working closely with the skipper, you’ll combine hospitality, organisation, and a genuine passion for life at sea - ensuring every guest feels comfortable, cared for, and relaxed from the moment they step onboard.

Every day will be different, but every day you will:

  • Deliver exceptional guest service throughout the charter, maintaining a friendly, professional and discreet presence onboard
  • Prepare and serve light breakfasts, lunches and snacks, assist with beverage service, and keep the galley clean and well organised
  • Maintain all interior spaces to a high standard, including cabins, saloon and guest bathrooms, managing linen changes as required
  • Take care of provisioning before and during the trip, including food, drinks and cleaning supplies
  • Create a welcoming onboard environment, offering information about destinations, assisting with activities, and contributing to a relaxed, memorable experience
  • Participate in safety briefings and emergency procedures, and support the skipper with docking, mooring and sailing operations when needed
  • Complete end-of-trip boat resets, including cleaning and preparing all interior guest spaces for the next departure

To be considered you must have:

  • Previous hospitality experience (hotel, villa, cruise or yachting experience preferred)
  • Strong communication skills and confidence working with international guests in English
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment
  • A positive, energetic and service-oriented attitude, even during busy or high-pressure moments
  • A genuine enjoyment of working closely with others in a small team and shared living environment
  • Culinary or barista skills (an advantage, but not essential)
  • STCW Basic Safety Training and an ENG1 Medical Certificate (recommended but not mandatory)

What you need to know:

  • This is a seasonal, live-aboard role, working per weekly charter departure
  • Accommodation is provided onboard (shared crew space)
  • Schedules vary depending on charter itineraries and include weekends and holidays
  • You’ll be working in a close-knit crew environment, so adaptability and teamwork are essential
  • The role is based onboard a commercial charter catamaran operating in the Sporades, Greece.
