At Intrepid, our trips are built on strong local partnerships, smart commercial decisions, and people who know their destinations inside out. We’re looking for an Assistant Contracting Manager, Caucasus to support the successful and profitable delivery of our trips across the region. 


Reporting to the Ground Manager, Caucasus, you’ll be part of a destination expert team, playing a hands-on role in sourcing, managing and negotiating with suppliers across accommodation, transport and activities in Armenia, Georgia and Azerbaijan. You’ll support the day-to-day contracting function, help manage trip profitability, and work closely with colleagues across product, operations and pricing to bring sustainable, experience-rich itineraries to life. 


This is a varied role suited to someone with solid tourism contracting experience, strong negotiation skills, and a good understanding of how the right suppliers and pricing decisions directly impact trip quality and commercial performance. You’ll be comfortable juggling multiple priorities, building relationships, and researching new options to strengthen our offering in the region. 


This is a full-time, permanent role, based remotely in Tbilisi, Georgia, working closely with the with Ground Manager, Caucasus. 


Some of the experience you’ll bring with you may include: 

  • Experience contracting hotels, transfers and activities, including managing rates, booking conditions and agreements
  • Tourism industry experience within contracting, reservations, product or supplier management
  • Experience working with DMCs and regional tourism suppliers
  • Strong negotiation skills and confidence managing commercial discussions
  • Experience researching and sourcing new suppliers
  • Knowledge of regional trip operations, ideally within small group adventures
  • Destination knowledge and local contacts within Armenia, Georgia and Azerbaijan
  • Experience using travel-related systems and strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
  • Fluency in English and Russian. 


You’ll also bring strong organisational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage a varied workload in a fast-paced environment. You’ll be confident working both independently and as part of a wider team, enjoy building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and bring creativity and initiative when sourcing suppliers.
