In this exciting role as General Manager Thailand, you will be responsible for the overall performance of Intrepid Thailand - from people leadership and day‑to‑day ground operations to long‑term strategy and financial results. You will actively drive sales growth by developing new business opportunities, improving trip profitability and boosting revenue, all while strengthening Intrepid’s brand presence across key destinations in the region.

Reporting to the Regional General Manager Southeast Asia, you will be a part of the Asia GM team, collaborating with other General Managers to deliver regional goals.  

Leadership is central to this role – You will lead and support your team by building capability, guiding people through change, and fostering a positive and inclusive work environment. You will also be accountable for strong governance and operational excellence, ensuring we meet all local laws, safety requirements, and company policies. This includes managing risks, handling incidents and overseeing financial performance.

This is a full-time permanent position, where you will be based in our office in Bangkok, Thailand.  

Some of the essential experience you’ll bring may include: 

  • Strong knowledge of managing Ground Operations in Thailand 
  • Deep understanding of the Thailand travel market 
  • Middle level management experience; company management experience preferred 
  • Background in tourism or a related operations, sales, or customer-focused industry 
  • High level of financial literacy and sound decision-making capability 
  • Proven experience in risk and incident management 
  • Strong English communication skills with the ability to lead and develop teams across diverse backgrounds.
