At Intrepid, unforgettable trips start long before travellers arrive - they’re built by detail-driven people who understand the destination, move fast, and care deeply about getting things right. We’re looking for an Operations Manager, Egypt to help make that happen. 
 

Based full-time in Cairo, Egypt, you’ll lead the safe, successful, and profitable running of all trips within Egypt, working closely with DMC teams, Intrepid brands, and external clients. You’ll provide operational leadership, support, and guidance, ensuring trips meet high standards of quality, safety, and customer experience. 

 

Some of the experience you’ll bring with you may include: 

  • Strong operations management or tour leading experience, including managing people and teams (onsite and remote) 

  • Excellent knowledge of product, itineraries, destinations, and adventure travel in Egypt and the wider Middle East 

  • Ability to manage crises calmly and responsibly, prioritising the safety of travellers and staff 

  • Outstanding organisational, delegation, and problem-solving skills 

  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills, with strong coaching and leadership abilities 

  • Commitment to exceptional customer service and Intrepid’s Responsible Travel philosophy 

  • High computer literacy (Microsoft Office) and experience with reservations systems 

  • Professional, reliable, and able to work independently or collaboratively, with flexibility for on-call responsibilities
