The world needs more Intrepid people: 

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive professional to provide administrative support to the Operations Manager (OM) and General Manager (GM), ensuring the successful and profitable delivery of all Intrepid Ecuador group and individual trips for our external clients. 

 In this role, you will coordinate and schedule leaders, local guides, and Customer Service staff, while supporting them to follow Intrepid’s safety standards, Responsible Travel policies, and achieve target feedback scores. You will also assist leaders and guides in resolving issues on the ground and act as their main point of contact.  

This is a full-time, permanent position based in our Quito, Ecuador office. 

 
Some of the essential experience you’ll have include:   

  • Previous experience in an operations role within the travel industry is essential. 

  • Experience in Ecuador, either as a Group Leader or in a similar operational role, is highly desirable. 

  • Excellent written and spoken communicate skills in both Spanish and English 

  • Experience in administrative tasks and strong computer skills, using Microsoft Office and other software
