We are Intrepid

The world needs more Intrepid people:

Join a finance team where you'll do more than manage the numbers - you'll help shape the future of our business across Northern Europe.

We're looking for a Finance Manager, North Europe to join our team in Copenhagen, Denmark on a full-time, permanent basis, with an estimated start date of October 2026.

We work in a 3-2-1 hybrid model, with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home, including at least 1 office day on a Monday or Friday.

In this role, you'll lead the financial management and accounting functions across Intrepid's Northern Europe operations, supporting a diverse portfolio that includes accommodation operations in Finland and Destination Management Company (DMC) operations in Iceland, Norway and Denmark.

Working closely with our Finance Shared Services team in Marrakech, regional leaders and operational teams across Europe, you'll ensure strong financial controls, accurate reporting, statutory compliance and effective payroll and payment processes. You'll also provide commercial insight and financial leadership, helping stakeholders make informed decisions that support sustainable growth and operational performance across the region.

This is a hands-on leadership role that combines financial stewardship with business partnering. You'll be equally comfortable ensuring compliance and accounting excellence while identifying opportunities, improving processes and providing meaningful analysis that helps drive business outcomes.

Some of the experience you’ll bring with you may include:

  • CA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent professional accounting qualification, with 3-5 years' post-qualification experience

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related discipline

  • Strong experience managing financial reporting, management accounting, budgeting, forecasting and statutory compliance

  • Practical finance and accounting experience within Europe, ideally across multiple jurisdictions

  • Experience working with complex accounting systems and financial software

  • Advanced Excel skills and the ability to analyse and interpret financial data effectively

  • Experience partnering with stakeholders across different countries, teams and functions

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence, collaborate and build relationships across a matrix organisation

  • Excellent communication skills in English. Additional Nordic language skills, particularly Danish, Finnish, Icelandic, or Norwegian, would be advantageous.

  • Experience within travel, accommodation, tourism or destination management businesses would be highly regarded

At Intrepid, you'll be part of a global business that's committed to creating positive change through the joy of travel. If you're a commercially minded finance leader who enjoys combining technical expertise with strategic thinking, we'd love to hear from you.
