We are Intrepid

We are Intrepid

The world needs more Intrepid people:

We’re looking for a People Partner, East and North Europe to support our amazing teams across the region with strong, compliant and people‑focused HR practices. Based in Zagreb, Croatia, this role partners closely with General Managers, line managers and global People teams. You’ll support leaders on day‑to‑day people matters, ensuring HR processes run smoothly and align with local labour laws and Intrepid’s global standards.

A core part of the role is hands‑on support across the employee lifecycle - including recruitment, onboarding, performance and development, engagement, benefits, talent management and issue resolution. You’ll provide practical advice, tools and coaching so managers feel confident leading their teams.

You’ll also be responsible for compliance and high‑quality people administration across the region. This includes managing employment contracts, employee relations matters, and liaising with unions and labour lawyers.

Beyond daily operations, you’ll contribute to training delivery, support change initiatives, and work on process improvements. You’ll collaborate closely with the Shared Services Centre to ensure accurate and timely payroll and contractual outcomes, while identifying opportunities to strengthen culture and improve the end‑to‑end employee experience.

This is a full‑time, permanent role, working in a hybrid capacity with 2–3 days per week based in our vibrant Zagreb, Croatia office. Occasional travel may be required to our office in Copenhagen also.

Some of the experience you’ll bring with you may include:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent practical experience

  • 3+ years’ experience in an operational, generalist HR role or as HR Manager

  • Experience handling employee relations matters; working with trade unions and bargaining councils would be an advantage

  • Strong knowledge of contemporary HR practices and the ability to interpret local labour legislation

  • Experience working independently and managing a varied workload

  • Bilingual fluency in English and Croatian

  • Strong organisational, administrative and problem‑solving skills

  • Well‑developed communication and interpersonal skills

  • Confidence working with HR systems (SAP experience is an advantage) and Microsoft Office

You’ll bring a pragmatic, collaborative and flexible approach, along with discretion, sound judgement and a sense of humour. You’ll enjoy partnering with managers and helping build an engaged, capable workforce across East and North Europe.

If you’re passionate about people and enjoy a hands‑on HR role, we’d love to hear from you!
