Treasury Assistant
As our Treasury Assistant, you'll help keep our Central America Finance team's treasury operations running smoothly. Based in Costa Rica, you'll support day-to-day cash management activities, including preparing payments, monitoring bank balances, updating cash flow information, completing bank reconciliations, and maintaining accurate treasury records.
You'll work closely with the Finance Manager, General Accountant, banks, vendors, and teams across the business. From coordinating payment documentation and following up on banking transactions to resolving outstanding items, you'll help ensure payments are processed accurately, cash information is reliable, and treasury deadlines are met. This role is part of a wider team, so you'll collaborate with both local and global finance teams. You'll learn from your colleagues, contribute to improved process efficiency, and support the Finance team when priorities shift.
If you enjoy working with numbers, keeping financial information organized, and taking initiative, you'll feel right at home in this role.
This is a full-time, permanent position that will operate on a hybrid basis from our office in Costa Rica where you'd be required to work from our office three times per week.
Some of the experience you’ll bring with you may include:
- Advanced studies in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.
- Experience supporting payments, bank transactions, cash management, or other financial processes.
- Practical experience completing bank or accounting reconciliations.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Previous treasury, banking, or accounts payable experience would be advantageous.
- Written and spoken English skills are desirable.
