The world needs more Intrepid people: 

We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Analyst to join Intrepid Travel’s Finance team and play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting. 

 

 
As the Accounting Analyst for Intrepid Travel, you will be responsible for executing account analyses to ensure the accuracy of financial statements. This includes daily transaction postings, reconciliations, and support in preparing financial reports to guide decision-making. You will support the general accountant in achieving monthly, annual, and compliance-related deadlines, both locally and globally. This role requires a detail-oriented, self-managed professional who can follow established processes, contribute to continuous improvement, and collaborate across departments to meet finance and business goals. 

 

This is a 12-month fixed-term position based in our San José, Costa Rica office. We offer a hybrid working arrangement, with the opportunity to work from home up to two days per week while collaborating with the team in the office for the remainder of the week. 

 

Some of the experience you’ll bring with you may include: 

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting.  

  • Intermediate knowledge of taxation.  

  • Experience with account analysis and reconciliations.  

  • Experience with billing or invoicing software.  

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel.  

  • Intermediate level of English (advanced proficiency is a plus).
