Accounting Analyst
We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Analyst to join Intrepid Travel’s Finance team and play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting.
As the Accounting Analyst for Intrepid Travel, you will be responsible for executing account analyses to ensure the accuracy of financial statements. This includes daily transaction postings, reconciliations, and support in preparing financial reports to guide decision-making. You will support the General Accountant in achieving monthly, annual, and compliance-related deadlines, both locally and globally. This role requires a detail-oriented, self-managed professional who can follow established processes, contribute to continuous improvement, and collaborate across departments to meet finance and business goals.
This is a full-time permanent position, operating out of our office in San Jose, Costa Rica. To provide the best experience to our people, this role would operate on a hybrid basis.
Some of the experience you’ll bring with you may include:

Bachelor's degree or advanced student in accounting.

Experience with account analysis and reconciliations.

Experience in process implementation or simplification (e.g. expense reporting, accounts payable).

Experience with billing or invoicing software.

Working knowledge of accounting software in English.

Advanced Excel proficiency.

Intermediate English level (advanced is a plus).
