Join our growing Sales team and help deliver exceptional online service to our travellers - bringing your own personality and flair to every interaction! 

As a Sales Consultant, you’ll create personalized quotes and help plan unforgettable trips for private groups and independent travellers (FIT). You’ll act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring quick responses and that everything we promise is delivered smoothly. 

Your day-to-day will include handling sales emails and calls, building itineraries, supporting product development, preparing trip documents, and providing outstanding customer service, all in line with Intrepid Travel’s standards and values. You’ll also work closely with our Reservations and Operations teams to make sure every trip runs safely and exactly as planned. 

Success in this role means building strong relationships, staying organized, and helping create incredible travel experiences for our customers. 

This is a full-time, permanent role based out of our Bogotá, Colombia office, working on a hybrid schedule. 

 

A love of travel is a must have! With it you’ll bring with you: 

  • Strong knowledge of destinations and the tourism industry in Colombia. 

  • Experience and/or strong interest in sales, quoting, and developing custom travel itineraries. 

  • High attention to detail and confidence working with numbers. 

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. 

  • Competent written and spoken English and Spanish. 

  • Strong communication and customer service skills. 

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines, even when things get busy. 

  • Proactive and focused on finding practical solutions to problems.
