At Intrepid, we love our people as much as we love to travel. If that resonates with you, this is your chance to put it into practice as a Tailor-Made Consultant for our North American Tailor-Made team. 

As a Tailor-Made Consultant, you will maximize sales of Tailor-Made and FIT products and provide exemplary customer service via phone, email, and live chat. The Tailor-Made team works with our DMCs to create amazing itineraries focused on Sustainable, Experience-Rich Travel. You will collaborate with travelers and travel agents across North America to create and sell unforgettable adventures. A high-performing individual in this role consistently meets or exceeds sales targets, maintains high customer satisfaction scores, and contributes actionable insights that support ongoing business improvement. 

This is a full-time, permanent position that can be based out of our Toronto office on a hybrid basis.The salary for this position is $54,814 CAD, plus additional sales commissions, along with a great benefits package and many awesome perks. 

A bit about you:    

  • Travel industry course and/or experience within the travel industry 

  • Personal and/or professional travel experience to Intrepid destinations 

  • Experience in a sales position 

  • Experience building Tailor-Made or FIT trips 

  • Experience providing customer service via telephone, email, and live chat 

  • Experience working with travel booking systems 

  • Experience using a CRM system, preferably Salesforce 

 

Alongside your excellent phone, email and live chat technique, you’ll possess strong selling skills to qualify the enquiry and close the sale. Your outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail will be the catalyst for your success in this role.
