Senior Accountant
Ready to make your mark at one of the world’s leading responsible travel companies? As the Senior Accountant, Canada, you’ll be at the heart of our Finance team, helping keep the business running smoothly while supporting the decisions that shape our growth.
Working closely with the Finance Manager, you’ll support the day-to-day finance operations across Intrepid Canada, as well as our local leadership team. Your responsibilities will span accounting, payables, receivables, treasury, and assisting the team with pricing, analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring compliance with global policies.
You’ll work side-by-side with our shared service centers and local management, providing financial insights and practical support that help keep our operations running smoothly. Ultimately, your work will help us deliver sustainable, experience-rich travel to our customers.
We work in a 3-2-1 hybrid model, with three days in the office and two days working from home, including at least one office day on a Monday or Friday.
This is a full-time, permanent position based out of our Toronto office on a hybrid basis. The salary range is $72,000 - $81,000 CAD, depending on experience, plus great benefits and excellent perks.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business discipline, with 5+ years’ experience in Finance/Accounting

Strong finance and accounting experience within a large global corporation, with advanced Excel skills
-
Passion for travel and belief in Intrepid Travel’s responsible travel philosophy

Understanding of and support for Intrepid Travel’s Purpose Beyond Profit ethos
It would be a bonus if you also bring:

CPA qualification (or equivalent), or currently studying towards the qualification

Experience with Microsoft Office, Dynamics D365, TM1, and Power BI
-
Travel industry experience, particularly in operations and/or sales and marketing
