We are Intrepid

We are Intrepid

The world needs more Intrepid people:

Are you ready to help people plan adventures they’ll talk about for years to come? We’re looking for a Sales Consultant to join our team in Toronto, Canada.

At Intrepid, we believe the journey starts the moment someone reaches out. Our Sales Consultants are at the heart of that connection, supporting travellers and agent partners every step of the way, from the first enquiry to departure day.

This is a contact centre environment where you'll handle a mix of sales and customer service interactions across phone, email, live chat, and social media. If you thrive in a fast-paced setting, love hitting targets, and enjoy building connections with people, this could be your next move. You’ll be responsible for maximizing sales and delivering exceptional service, developing deep product knowledge, and ensuring every booking is managed with care, accuracy, and attention to detail.

What you need to know:

This is a full-time, permanent role based in our Toronto office on a hybrid basis (2-3 days per week in the office). You’ll work a rotating roster across 7 days, with shifts between 9:00AM EST and 8:00PM EST, including weekends.

Some of the experience you’ll bring with you may include:

  • Experience in sales and/or customer service, with a proven ability to connect with people, understand their needs, and convert enquiries into bookings.

  • Confidence working towards targets and KPIs - you're results-driven and love celebrating wins.

  • Strong communication skills in spoken and written English, with experience handling customer interactions via phone, email, and live chat.

  • Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office, CRM systems (ideally Salesforce), and travel booking platforms.

  • Great attention to detail and strong organizational skills to ensure accuracy in bookings and customer files.

  • A collaborative, team-focused attitude, ideally with personal or professional travel experience and/or experience in the travel industry.
